4th Grade Social Studies
GIANTS - Geographic Inquiry and New Temporal Sequencing
Recent analysis of research on the brain over the last 10 to 15 years has revealed numerous applications to the classroom. In fact, it has lead to a new field titled, "Educational Neuroscience".
This professional learning opportunity is designed to help 3rd Grade Educators understand how they can apply this research to improve their instructional practices using newly designed curriculum and resources.
What Is It?
As a result of the incorporation of disciplinary specific, critical thinking skills brought about by the design of The C3 Framework, this curriculum and accompanying professional development network are the best tools to assist 4th grade social studies teachers in developing inquiry-based instructional units.
