Great job, Jessica, for co-presenting an awesome session during this year's Promising Practices Conference. At one point, I saw 234 participants! That is HUGE!
Super, Jessica!

Shout out to Deslynn for regularly engaging with her colleagues in a fun manner. Jenny forwarded me a funny email correspondence between the two them.
Deslynn, you are a hoot!

SSS Department Trivia
Week 9 of Round 2- Who am I?
WHO AM I? "I started playing the flute in 6th grade. I played through high school and college marching band and still play a couple times a year at church."
The answer is Loretta Poxleitner!
The following guessed this correctly: Pam and Deslynn!
Scoreboard
Loretta - 3
Pam - 3
Deslynn - 3
Tree - 2
Bev - 2
Jennifer E. - 1
Jesse - 1
Here is what Loretta has to say about her musical abilities:
I started playing the flute in the school band when I was in the 6th grade and stuck with it all through high school. We fundraised for two years to pay for a trip to Disneyland which has been my one and only trip to Disney. The high school band always performed marching band routines during football season so I was excited to join the marching band at the University of Idaho. Every fall semester, the marching band class met five days a week in the Kibbie Dome to learn the music and the routines. We played at a Seattle Seahawks game in Seattle one year which was a highlight. My family attends most Vandal home football games lately since our oldest is going to school there. I always get so nostalgic when I watch the marching band perform. It’s ridiculous!
I can’t believe I don’t have a single picture of all my adventures with high school band and marching band. We didn’t carry around phones in our pockets back then, I guess!
I continue to dust off my flute twice a year to play with the choir at church for Christmas and Easter services which I really enjoy. I should play more often, but life gets too busy. I’m glad I still have a reason to play occasionally.
