The Candy Making World

The Candymakers, by Wendy Mass. The amazing book was published October,

2010 and is still getting great reviews; " reveals a multitude of mysteries…. Attentive,

candy-loving readers will be richly rewarded "-booklist, " Earnest and sweet,

with enough salty twists not to taste saccharine"- Kirkus reviews, and many

more great reviews ( including mine ). The Candymakers has also won the National Homeschool Book award.

The novel consist of four main characters: Logan, Miles, Philip, and Daisy, who

all have their own goals and challenges for entering the Annual Candy Making

Contest, and the best thing about it is that the question never changes but your answer does. The book is packed with secrets and surprises that will never let you

put the book down.

The Candymakers is a great book for all ages and I recommend it to everyone even

if your not a sweet tooth I can guarantee you will still fall in love with the story. I rank

it a FIVE STAR ♦♦♦♦♦, and I hope You will too!
