A Message from Mrs. Fantaskey

Thank You:

Thank you to our staff and parent volunteers for helping to provide some fun festivities for our Halloween parade and parties last week. The children and adults enjoyed celebrating together.

Mrs. Emmett created a WeVideo of our parade and some pictures of our students on Friday for all to enjoy. The video can be accessed via the link below!

Diwali - November 4th - School Holiday/Offices Open:

Wishing you a wonderful first week of November,

Student Arrival ~ School begins at 8:35 AM

Just a friendly reminder that our school day begins at 8:35 AM. Please plan to have your child here closer to 8:25 AM, so they are able to arrive in their classrooms and prepare for the beginning of the day.

Our bell rings at 8:35 AM, the doors are closed, and our announcements begin. If you are arriving after 8:35 AM, parents should park and escort students to the main office to sign in. For students who are late, arrival time and reason must be verified by parent when they bring the student to the office.

Thank you for your cooperation.

~Mrs. Fantaskey

Veterans Day Wall of Fame

We are excited to honor our Veterans for this upcoming Veterans Day with various activities. One of our most favorite is our Wall of Honor. We would love to have as much Doyle family participation, as possible.

If you or a family member is currently serving or has served in the US Armed Forces, please e-mail a picture of that person in uniform with name and relationship to our students. All pictures should be emailed to bernst@cbsd.org.

Our students will also take part in various classroom activities on Veterans Day.

Classroom Happenings

Honoring Our Veterans

Over the past few weeks our students created cards and pictures to be sent to some our troops serving in Iraq. Mrs. Cirulli's son in law, Aaron, is currently serving in Iraq, and our staff and students joined together to show our gratitude and the value and honor we have for those who are serving and have served our country. Last Saturday, Mrs. Cirulli sent the box of smiles, hearts, love, and gratitude from our Soaring Eagles, in hopes that the goodies are received by Veterans Day.

"We take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude!" Thank you, Soaring Eagles, for recognizing and celebrating the sacrifices that are made for all us.

Technology Access for International Travel

Currently, the Technology and Innovation Department blocks Microsoft Office 365 logins to Outlook, OneDrive, ClassLink, and Canvas from foreign countries. This aids in protecting our CBSD user accounts and organization from malicious computer attacks from outside of the United States.

Students who travel cannot assume their devices will work once they leave the United States. For student out-of-country access requests, please know that access to technology for vacations will not be approved at this time.
