The Four Horse were players for Notre Dame. The four Horse men made their debut on October 18, 1924.The positions they played. Harry Stuhldeher was the quarterback, Jim Crowley played Half Back, Don Miller Full Back, and Elmer Layden Had Ramped threw opponents defense. In 1922 and 1923 They only lost one game both seasons. In 1924 They were senors that rode the horse. In 1924 The Irish won the national championship
