Popcorn Party!!!! ALL CHOIRS

All choirs will get a popcorn party because of helping with recipes. We could not have done it without everyone pulling together. Thanks. Date to be determined.

Compass Rose Events! We can earn $4,000 for the choir! NEED MORE VOLUNTEERS!

We need MORE ADULTS AND STUDENTS to sign up for the Compass Rose Event on TOMORROW. The first event is September 25/26. It is Schwanson Comestice. We need 6 adults on Friday and 42 on Saturday (students and adults) Participants must be 15 years old or older.

a) Set-up Day (includes unloading trucks, staging, and setting up the event equipment)

b) Event Day (includes staff meeting, running the event, takedown, truck loading and final cleanup)

Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 9:00 AM to approximately 5:00 PM


The second event is Saturday, October 3rd. We need 25 people. 12 have to be adults. Participants must be 15 years old or older.

JoZoara's Coffe House Performance ~ Monday night at 6:30 PM

This Monday night the BHS choir students will provide entertainment at JoZoara's Coffee. Performers will need to meet there at 6 PM. The performances start at 6:30 PM. This is our last evening to provide entertainment on the patio. Please come out and support your fellow friends.

BHS Choir selling FUNNEL CAKES ~ Homecoming Oct 2nd NEED VEG OIL

The BHS Chorus is selling funnel cakes for $5 at the Blaze Bash on Friday, October 2nd. We need donations of vegetable oil. If you can please send your oil in on Monday and Tuesday of next week. Students we will need volunteers to sell the funnel cakes. There will be a sign up list in the chorus room.

OCT 2nd Deadline to sign up for NYC or price goes up!

We DO NOT have enough people signed up for NYC. We have until Friday Oct. 2nd to make our numbers. If you have not signed up please do so. There will be a price increase if we do not have 38 signed up. Right now we have 22. Remember that the NYC paperwork is on the website.

NEW Veterans Day Choral Concert Date ~ Wednesday, November 11th

The Veterans Day Choral Concert has been changed from Tuesday, November 10th to Wednesday, November 11th at 7 PM. This changed has been made due to the theatre production of Death of a Salesman Tuesday night. All three choirs will perform in the BHS Auditorium. Do not forget that women's chorale and select chorus will perform at the Veterans Home that morning.

Our candles should be ready for pickup on the 12th of October. All orders should have been turned in by now. If you have orders that you did not turn in, you will need to refund the money at this point.

RE-REGISTER YOUR Kroger Plus Card! REGISTER it for BHS Chorus Today!

Everyone will need to re-register their Kroger plus card. Register your Kroger Plus Card so we can earn money today. We earned $2,000 last year just by you guys shopping and Kroger and using your plus card. You must register the card. Go to scroll to bottom of home page for directions on how to register your card. Thanks!

Tux Price Reduced

Parents, if you have paid for a new tux for your student, we will refund some of the money. We were able to get the tuxes a little cheaper this year. Concert choir will pay $65 for their tux now. Select will pay $13. We are trying to save families some money. If you student needs to be fitted call Street Tuxedo. Their number is 615-890-0955.

Cookbooks Available Soon!

Cookbooks will be available soon. They have been processed. We are just waiting on them to be shipped to us. Cookbooks are $10 each! We will let you know when they come in. Make checks payable to BHS Choral Boosters.

Freshman Honor, All state, Mid state Auditions

Auditions for the 2016 freshman honors choirs and mid-state / all-state are at Siegel High School this year the weekend of October 22-24. Audition music can be found on the choir website. Questions, please contact director.
