Taoism & Confucianism

Confucianism is a philosophy where their goal is to have a structured society, to be setting good examples to others. Their life after death is to be worshiped as an ancestor. Many of the lessons come Confucius's Analects.


Taoism is a philosophy where the people try and be one with nature. The human relationship with nature stresses through Taoism. People usually follow the Tao ( or the "way"). Their life after death is that their souls live on forever and is able to roam around space.

  • A government with Confucian principles would be more calm and more structured.
  • An Asian family with Confucius's teachings would be a family well respected, one who knows how to treat their elders with respect.
