Attendance Notes

If your child is absent from school, please make sure to provide written documentation to our Attendance Clerk, Mrs. Kinsey, The excuse note(s) needs to include a doctor's note or a parent note with the reason your child was absent and the date(s) that he/she missed from school.

An excuse note can be provided in the following ways:

• Email to Mrs. Kinsey at tkinsey@lexrich5.org
• Email or fax directly from medical provider to 803-722-5521
• Provide a handwritten note to the attendance office the day the student returns to school
• Go to our CMS website and submit student excuse form

Please make sure that your student has notified his or her teacher if they are absent more than 2 days during the week so that they are aware of any missed assignments.

Also, please let Mrs. Kinsey know if your student has been medically diagnosed with the FLU so that we can track this information.
