PLEASE keep your student(s) home if they are ill. Refer to the MDH Decision Tree and the Home Screening Tool.

Spring is here! Just a reminder, masks are still required. Continue to monitor your symptoms. If there is a pending covid test in your household, everyone needs to stay home until those results are in. Make sure to call the health office if there is a positive case within your household or a close contact! Let's finish the year out strong!!

With the school year slowly coming to a close, I will start reminding parents of immunizations for next fall. 6th & 11th grade students will be receiving their immunization profiles in the coming weeks. Just a reminder, there is a new requirement for 12th graders, I will need updated immunizations regarding the meningococcal booster or a notarized exemption on file. Any questions, please ask!!

I hope you all have a safe and healthy break!!

Now that sports are back up and running if you have a high school athlete and they end up testing positive for COVID, it is strongly recommended they complete the COVID return to play (RTP) protocol. The form needed is linked below.

MSHSL Student-Athlete Medical Eligibility – Post COVID-19 Return to Sport

This return to play is very similar to our concussion return to play. Once our athletic trainer receives the clearance letter from a medical provider, she can finish the protocol with your athlete. If you have any questions about this, feel free to reach out to me, Anne Grahn (District Nurse) or Kris Osterdyk (Athletic Director).

If you decide not to complete this protocol, we need the MHS COVID RTP Denial form on file (see link below).

Reminder to all families- Due to Covid, the USDA has offered a waiver to all school districts allowing schools to offer BREAKFAST and LUNCH for FREE to ALL students for this 2020-2021 school year! This is offered to every student regardless if they have an approved application for educational benefits on file or not. ALL STUDENTS can receive breakfast and a lunch every school day for FREE!

Thank you so much for allowing our Nutrition Department the opportunity to feed your student(s) and help them achieve their best!

The Board Advisory Committee at Mora Schools is looking for interested community members to join. The Board Advisory Committee is a chance for community members to bring ideas, concerns, and questions to be presented to the school board. It also allows the school board an opportunity to seek input from the community. If you would like to participate in a meeting to see if you are interested in joining, email Aimee Moske at amoske@moraschools.org, and the information will be sent to you. Our next meeting date is May 10th at noon.
