Also, remember that attendance is being monitored more closely by all schools within Unit 5 as the State of Illinois changed laws last year. Attendance plays a role in each school's State Report Card. All students not at school a minimum of 10% or more will receive a letter each month. We understand children become sick from time to time and we want you to keep them home or those reasons. We follow the guidelines of fever free (100 degrees or more) for 24 hours, vomit free for 24 hours and diarrhea free for 24 hours.
PTO
Are you wanting to clean out your closet and de-clutter then do it! The PTO is looking for donations for a garage sale that will take place over spring break. All proceeds will go back to the school. The PTO is looking for host their Breakfast with Eagles on Tuesday, March 31st. Look for more information. The PTO is looking for lots of support, donations and support for their biggest fundraiser, the Carnival on Friday, April 24.
The PTO supports the students at Glenn by raising funds and providing necessary funds to teachers to continue their great teaching. Come to the next meeting. There is childcare during the meeting. Many of the PTO members will be stepping down at the end of the year due to their children moving to middle school. Think about how you can get involved.
