Academic Support Sessions

Do you want extra support in homework or make-up assignments? We're here for you! Join your grade level teacher to work on missing assignments for any class. Work on Aleks, Accelerated Reader, or just hang out and play academic games with each other such as blooket, kahoot or 99 math to help enhance your knowledge in any subject. Grade 5-Mrs. Kachanis, Grade 6-Mrs. Benedetti in rm 104, Grade 7/8 ELA & Social Studies w/ Ms. Hasett in rm 221, Grade7/8 Math and Science w/ Mrs. Porter rm 220.

Art Club

Do you have a knack for creativity? If yes, Art Club with Mrs. Korneffel & Mrs. Bury is the place for you! Art Club is a weekly meeting for all interested Brennan students that want to have open studio time. Activities are student choice including drawing, painting, art contests, extra time on assignments. Art Club supports the Brennan Arts community by installing work for The Night of the Arts, creating props and scenery for Drama Club, and other opportunities throughout the year.


Amigos is a cultural mentorship program with Bishop Feehan High School. Its participants receive academic one-on-one support with a BF student. The focus is on academics, but we balance it with some social time as well. Snacks are provided. Culminating experience is a field trip to Bishop Feehan High School. Join Mrs. Gatikova in room 214 after school-starts March 1, 2022!

Best Buddies

Are you looking for a place to hang out after school and make new friendships while doing fun activities? Head to Best Buddies! Best Buddies is meant to create 1:1 friendships for people with and without disabilities. This will be a commitment that meets bi-weekly in the library on Tuesdays with Ms. Clark, Ms. Larson, and Mrs. Campbell!

C4C-Coaching for Change

A diverse cohort of college students has been selected who will support existing school curriculum and mentor BMS students! This provides students the individualized attention, care, support, knowledge and empowerment necessary to supplement classroom teaching and help them take control of their futures. Join Mrs. Porter, Ms. DeRose, Mrs. Eberhardt, and Mrs. Heal in rooms 204, 205, and 206 bi-weekly! Starts the week of 02/14/22!

Drama Club

Do you love acting or want to try your hand at it? Then break a leg and join us! The drama club will learn acting skills, tryout and rehearse for upcoming live theater productions. You will get to sing, dance, and learn about stage directions and more. Are you more of a background person? That works too, join our stage crew! No matter your interest or experience level, come join us! Meet us Tuesdays & Thursdays in the Cafetorium!

ELL Club for 7th and 8th Graders

This fun and community based club is open to all 7th and 8th grade English Language Learners! We will have fun while focusing on community outreach. You will meet fellow ELL students from AHS. We will take an immigration journey and plan a Cultural Carnival! Join Mrs. Heal bi-weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays in room 206! (MERGED WITH C4C)

Global Kids Club

Are you looking to become more cultured? If so, this club is for you! You will learn basic German, Spanish and French vocabulary words, numbers, colors, and polite greetings, etc. To add to the fun, you will be making cultural crafts and playing Bingo! Join Mrs. Ayers in Library on Thursdays for this unique club!!

History Movie Club

Are you a movie buff?! Want snacks and a fun time with friends? If so, this club has YOUR name on it! Movies bring history and so many amazing stories to life! Come to History Movie club and learn about the historical events and people depicted in your favorite feature films and then watch them. Coming attractions this week: Finish Night at the Museum & if time allows, we will start Coco! Join Ms. Nolan in room 208 on Tuesdays! *Students must get a permission slip from Ms. Nolan and have it signed by a parent/guardian.


Do you like playing sports or just enjoy having some athletic fun with friends? Enhance your physical fitness by improving your skills and enjoying time with friends. If this sounds fun to you, then this club is for you! Join Ms. Andrew in the Gym on Thursdays for this sports club!!

Lego Club-Grade 5

Do you enjoy building things, having fun, and using your imagination? Then, join Lego Club! Engineers will engage in the engineering design process to create unique structures. Meet Mrs. Battisti after school weekly on THURSDAYS in room 119.

Mural Club for 7th and 8th Graders

Are you a 7th or 8th grade student that wants to use their artistic talents to make a difference and place their mark on the Brennan and Attleboro Community? If so, then join Mrs. Bury and Mrs. Korneffel, in conjunction with the Attleboro parks and recreation department, to design collaborative murals focusing on making a positive impact throughout Attleboro! Join us when announced.

Music Club

Do you love music or play an instrument? If so, join us after school for musical fun! We will have a small ensemble focusing on jazz, classical, and rock music. Join Mr. Brunelle in the music room on Tuesdays!

National Junior Honor Society

NJHS is a club for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who have been formally inducted into the local Brennan Chapter. The National Junior Honor Society is a nationally recognized organization of elite middle school students who excel in the areas of: scholarship, leadership, character, and citizenship. Join Mrs. Porter and Mrs. McGourty weekly on Mondays in room 220.

Running Club

Are you into physical fitness, already a runner, or want to relieve some anxiety? If you answered yes, then become a part of our team! You will be introduced to running at whichever level best suits your athletic ability and you will learn other strengthening activities. You will build stamina over time and learn how to encourage and support others using a team based approach. Join Ms. Clark every Thursday and every other Tuesday in the main foyer!

Student Council

This club is exclusive to students who are elected by their peers into the Student Council. Student engagement, social-emotional skills development, and community outreach are all characteristics of this important leadership activity. Pep Rallies, Fund Raisers, and Scholarships are just a few ways Student Council gives back and makes BMS a great school! Join Student Council with Mrs. McKenzie, Mrs. Eberhardt, and Mrs. Bury!
