Titan Staff News
Week of January 26
Titans,
Our first week of the new semester has been a successful one! As of tomorrow I will be hitting the road south to Austin for the TASA Mid-Winter Conference and Principal's Visioning Institute. It's truly tough to be away, but you are in good hands in my absence. Thank you so much for the increased supervision in the hallways. I can tell you all are making an effort to be out there each passing period. As we continue to grow as a campus, the more eyes out watching the students, the better. Several staff members joined me yesterday for the Middle School Design Committee meeting. There were a number of topics discussed and I am sure you will hear some of the options that may be available to middle schools next year. If you have any questions, I would be more than happy to discuss those with you. As we move through the spring, more details will be shared.
Have a great week Titans! See you Friday!
Kim

Important Information
- A big THANK YOU to the ladies in our cafeteria. They graciously restocked our lounge snack machine with more teacher-friendly items....chocolate and snacks!
- Join me in welcoming our newest Titan. As of Feb 2 Theresa Harris will be joining the counseling department. You may see her around a little bit as we transition in that department.
- When reviewing your students for CBAs or exams, please refrain from using the exact assessment. You can provide the students with model questions, but exact replicas of the test do not give us an accurate view of the data.
- For the upcoming school year, we will be offering AVID to our 7th and 8th graders. There's still a great deal of logistics and details to determine, but if you are interested in seeing what AVID is all about here is a great link. AVID
- CONGRATULATIONS to our Auxiliary Staff Recognition Recipients: Tammy Jeffers, Albert Lujan, and David Fletcher.
