Colonel Henry Bouquet was a British army officer in the French and Indian war.
Bouquet was born in Rolle, Switzerland in 1719, and came to America in 1756. He joined the army when he was 17 and fought with General John Forbes in a successful battle against fort Duquesne. He began his military career at the age of 17. As a professional soldier he was in the Dutch, Sardinian and Swiss Army before joining the British Army in 1756. Henry had followed his fathers steps in the military which took him to North America where he fought a war in western Pennsylvania. Colonel Henry Bouquet died on September 2nd, 1756 from yellow fever. He was 45 years old when he died.
