2020 Butte County CTE Summer Camps
This was Butte County CTE's second year providing skills-based Summer Camps to local middle grade students, and it was a big success!
While we had to reduce the number of students and implement new safety procedures due to COVID-19, our camps were able to blend safety and social distancing with hands-on skills and, of course, fun.
In addition to our popular girls' and boys' welding camps, we added a new programming drones program and four new culinary camps.
Thanks to our wonderful instructors Shane Gower (welding), Jon Andrew (programming) and Paul Lema (culinary), as well as support staff Anita Homesley, Jane Lansdown and Kelli Gordon, our programs went off without a hitch.
Due to demand, we hope to add more camps during the school year. Sign up for our Mailing List to be the first to know about new programs!
