Here's What We've Been Up To!
Library Rules
"While you're here, be productive in a way that allows others to be productive. Respect the people. Respect the space. Respect the materials."
Student Art Work
Mr. Kent's Studio Art classes will be providing us with artwork to display through out the library.
Our New Sign-in and Catalog Searching Station
An old computer has found a new home. My graduate school laptop is now our student sign-in and catalog searching station.
Don't forget about Box Tops and Labels for Education!
The high school participates in Box Tops and Labels for Education. Just by collecting the labels below on participating products, we can earn free supplies for our school. Drop boxes and information are available in the library and the main office!
Recent Book Displays
October was Domestic Violence and Abuse Awareness month. We gathered books featuring characters who experience violence. Ms. Lair provided us with information about violence and abuse and where to get help if students need it.
Our new books are here and on display! Check out our new fiction, nonfiction, and series books.
Veteran's Day falls in November. Our display tables feature memoirs and historical and factual accounts of war to help students gain a better understanding of the sacrifices that are made by soldiers.
Dont forget to check us out online!
New additions include:
- a tool that allows students to see what new books that have been added to our catalog
- book reviews from Ms. Hayes
- a monthly slideshow featuring books from the catalog
- nonfiction resources
- a new materials request form to help us select materials for use in the library and your classrooms
I need your input!
I'm creating a vision and mission for the library to help when selecting materials, creating programming, and connecting students with information. The form below can help to guide us in working together and creating the best learning environment for our students.
