What is Asthma

Asthma is a disease that causes the airways of the lungs to swell up letting less air getting through the body, mucus also fills the airway as well as swelling . If you have Asthma you might experience wheezing and coughing, or even tight chests when you are running. Asthma is a long-term disease that you can outgrow. Asthma makes running, and physical activities hard, here are some facts about Asthma.

Facts

  1. Its a non-communicable disease, so you cant pass it on to someone else like a virus

  2. Its a breathing disease, that swells up the airways to your lungs

  3. You can have asthma attacks, that make it very hard to breathe

  4. Asthma attacks reduces the amount of air in a breath you get

  5. Get to a hospital if you are having an attack, the doctors can hook you up to oxygen so you get more oxygen in your body

  6. There are doctors that treat asthma, you can go to them and see your progress, like if your lungs strengthen

  7. There are inhalers in case Asthma is acting up, to try to stop swelling

  8. It tightens your chest, and kind of hurts

  9. airways of lungs tighten, causing less oxygen getting throughout the body

  10. Mucus as well as swelling partially fills the sides of the airways

Ways to maintain or improve you health if you have Asthma

Asthma can be scary if you don't treat it, here are ways to balance out your health with Asthma.
  1. Take an inhaler if a doctor tells you to this can result to keep your Asthma under control

  2. if you are coughing take your rescue inhaler, this could stop the swelling of the airway of your lungs

  3. if you are wheezing you might want to stop, it could result to a Asthma attack

  4. take a break if you are wheezing, that too could lead to a Asthma attack

  5. you can see a doctor particularly with breathing to tell you how to treat your Asthma, this could let you know what to do daily, and could see your progress.
