What is the FAFSA?

The FAFSA is very important in helping families afford college. FAFSA stands for Free Application for Financial Student AId. This form is used to apply for financial aid such as loans, work-study, grants. The main focus is determine your student's eligibility for federal aid. The information is sent to your child's colleges which will allow the college to determine if your child is eligible for further state or school aid.


In order to complete the FAFSA you will need your tax information. If you have not completed your 2013 taxes, you can estimate your tax information on the FAFSA and update it at a later date

Financial AId Night is being held at Tri-Valley High School on January 30th at 6:oo pm in the library.
