Big picture

Hello ECHS Students and Parents,


It is my sincere hope that you, your family and your friends are safe and healthy during these incredibly difficult times. As our program supports families between the Beaverton, Hillsboro and Tigard Tualatin School Districts, it is very possible that the recent wildfires affected our shared community in very different ways. If any of our families have been impacted, please reach out to us when you are safe and able. Our thoughts are with all in our community, and we are here to support you in any way we can.


Students, it was wonderful to see all of you at either Senior Day or during the New Student Orientation and your CG101/102 course last week. For our seniors, please remember that the resources shared during Senior Day are archived in the ECHS D2L page. For all our students, please remember that our staff are here to support you. Please reach out to us and let us know if anything is less than wonderful.


Students, Monday is not only the official start of the 2020-21school year, it is also the start of a tremendous opportunity. We know that through your hard work, determination and perseverance you will capitalize on this opportunity and "create the life you want to live." We are here to support you and cannot wait to see all of your accomplishments this year.

Grab and Go Meal Sites During Online Learning. 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

HSD Info:

HSD is providing free meals to all students, Mondays through Fridays when school is in session, through at least December 2020.


Meals are being delivered via bus routes (check www.hsd.k12.or.us/mybus for stop locations and times), and are also available in a drive-through/walk-up model between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.* at six schools: Century High School, R.A. Brown Middle School, Evergreen Middle School, Poynter Middle School, South Meadows Middle School, and Lincoln Street Elementary School. (*This distribution time starts on Monday, Sept. 14, and will remain the same through at least Friday, Nov. 6, 2020.)


BSD Info:

Providing free meals to any student between 11-12 on Tuesday and Thursdays.

ECHS Drive-Up Photo Opportunity: Photos and ID Cards

Friday, Sep. 25th, 1-3pm

Dorian Studios will on hand at Southridge to take photos and produce ECHS ID cards. The ID cards will include our school name and the home high school name. They may be used to receive the usual benefits student ID cards provide at home high schools.


Students and parents also have the opportunity to purchase the traditional yearly school pictures if you are interested and families can click the link below for more information or ordering.

Please note: To follow social distancing and safety guidelines, all staff and students will practice 6' social distancing and all attending must wear a mask.

Summer Coursework

As you know ECHS does not cover the tuition for any classes during the Summer Term. From time to time some students choose to take a class over the summer and pay the tuition and fees on their own.

If you took a class at PCC over the summer those grades and credits are not reported to ECHS and are not automatically added to your High School Transcript.

If you want those credits and grades added to your high school transcript please email our secretary, Barbara Chhaya Barbara_Chhaya@beaverton.k12.or.us and include your name, PCC G# and the course information.
