Attendance Awareness Month
Sparkman HS Theater
A musical and theatrical revue by our Sparkman Theater students will be presented along with delicious desserts and beverages also provided.
How Much: DONATIONS ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR ($5.00 per person suggested donation)
The Crimson Crier newspaper and The Senator yearbook received a First Class rating with marks of distinction in coverage from the National Scholastic Press Association.
PARKING INFORMATION
Parking decals are available to purchase for all Juniors and Seniors for $20. You may pay for your decal using MySchool fees or you can pay with cash or check.
Sophomores may turn in required paperwork and will be placed on the waiting list.
Paperwork you will need to bring:
- a copy of your receipt
- a copy of your Driver’s license
- a copy of your proof of insurance
- a completed parking application
Myschool fees - Please make sure you enter your student’s name in the space when checking out. If you are purchasing decals for more than one student please to complete a separate transaction for each student

Decals will be assigned and distributed after the first week of school. Decals cannot be transferred to another student or vehicle.
Remember, you will not be issued a decal if you have any outstanding fees (course fees, textbook fines, etc).
MySchool Fees - Online Payment System to pay for Fees
Course Fees will be available to pay online from July 25th to August 31st.
Parking Decals will be available to pay online starting July 24th.
Directions for accessing and paying on MySchool Fees:
- Go to https://sparkmanhigh.mcssk12.org/
- Select “Resources”
- Select “MySchoolFees”
- Select “Category”
- Pick “Course” and add to Cart (Repeat as needed)
- Once all categories have been selected, hit “Checkout” button and follow instructions for payment. (Do not check use billing information to create a MySchoolFees.com account)
- Click on who will “own Public Fees” and designate if the funds are for the same recipient or several recipients
- If funds are for the same recipient, identify the recipient by typing in the recipient’s name.
- If funds are for several recipients, identify the recipient by typing in the recipient’s name for each category.
- Submit and continue.
- Follow instructions to checkout

Our counselors are excited to get to work with you and your students.They would appreciate if you would take a moment and fill out the following google form:
Yearbook school photo proofs were distributed today during first period. The deadline to order photos is Sept. 17. Proof and payment need to be returned to Room 127 for purchase. Make-up photos will be made on Sept. 19. If a student needs a photo re-do they will need to keep their current proof to bring to the cameras on that make-up day. If they do not return a proof, they do not get a re-take.
The Senator Yearbook is currently on sale for $70 through the end of September. Books may be purchased at Myschoolfees.com or in Room 127 before or after school. The price will increase to $75 on Oct. 1.

The Senators Cross Country team competed Saturday in the Huntsville Panther Prowl at Sharon Johnston Park. TEN members of the team set new Personal Records (PRs) during the event. At the 2 mile distance Junior Varsity runners Wyatt Harris, Craig Kelly, Robin Key, Azlyn Miller and Abby Saalwaechter earned themselves new PRs. On the Varsity team completing the 5K distance and getting new PRs were Jonathan Gubert, Zach Kelley, Omar Myers, Gilly Ruelas and Jacob Soler. Freshman Esther Stokes once again earned a t-shirt by placing 11th in the Girl’s Junior Varsity race. In team standings, Varsity Girls Gold teams finished 9th, the Boys Varsity Gold finished 7th, the Varsity Boys Silver was 12th, the Girls JV 7th while the Boys JV finished 6th.
