As a part of our Veterans Day Assembly, scheduled for November 10, 2023 at 8 am, we would like to honor the brave people in our community who have served or are currently serving in the military. To include a member of the military to be honored during our assembly please share their name and the branch of the military they served in or are currently serving in, an optional picture, and bio or information about their time serving in the link below. Thank you for your participation. This year we will invite those Veterans, as well as families of students and members of our community to our school to join us for our in person assembly. We will be taking submissions until Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Earn volunteer hours by providing snacks to the CCA staff every Monday. Store bought items equal one volunteer hour, and homemade items count as 2 volunteer hours. Sign up one week before you will bring snacks. We love taking care of our teachers and staff!

The PTO Hospitality team is getting ready to prepare our wonderful Thanksgiving baskets that we do for the staff every year. The PTO will be purchasing items and building baskets. We would like to ask if you could please contribute a $5 dollar donation to help make these baskets special. You can send $5 dollars in cash in an envelope to the front office or you are welcome to Venmo Mrs. Sourial, our PTO Hospitality chair at My Venmo @Natalie-Sourial. Thank you in advance for your help in making these special for our staff!

Parents, each year we put together a slideshow video of our 8th graders and show it at graduation. We are asking that you please fill out this form in order to submit a baby/young child photo of your 8th grader and a current photo of them to be shared at graduation. If you have any questions, please contact Rachel Brooks at rbrooks@cherrycreekacademy.org.

Project Angel Heart (PAH) is an organization that provides meals in bags for those who are ill and may not be able to cook for themselves or go to the grocery store. They provide nutritional and medically customized meals to those who are sick. One aspect of this organization is that all of these meals are delivered in brown paper bags that are decorated with cheerful images that may provoke positivity and happiness to Project Angel Heart clients. StuCo and NJHS would like to have students and families decorate at least 1000 bags for PAH. Students may decorate bags in the front lobby during the week of Nov. 6th through Nov. 10th during the mornings before school, at lunch, or they can take them home to decorate. (All bags must be dropped off on Friday, November 10, 2023). Thank you!
