Transition classes
Our preschoolers have been enjoying their transition classes over the past three Fridays. These classes have been a fun opportunity for our soon-to-graduate-preschool students to get to know the other almost-first-graders, to spend some time getting to know the 1st grade teaching team, and to try out some skills that they will be working with in the first few weeks of the new school year. The last of our transition classes will take place from 2pm to 3pm on Friday.
Summer Fair
We are all looking forward to our upcoming Summer Fair (03.07.2015) - a day of fun events, games, and celebrations for our students!
Our kindergartners will have the opportunity to enjoy the Summer Fair games and attractions for the morning, without the distractions of other students. After lunch, they will head inside for a rest time (kindergartners are welcome to rejoin the fun as soon as they are picked-up in the afternoon). Out preschoolers can participate in the games and attractions for the majority of the afternoon, but will also come inside for a short rest before pick-up time.
Please be aware that all ELC students should be picked-up by 3pm if you would like them to enjoy the talent show and afternoon attractions.

ELC Action Gallery & Portfolio-Share
Your children are looking forward to sharing some of their inquiries from the school year with you during our Action Gallery week. Throughout the week, you will be able to wander through the ELC looking at displays of the different ways our ELC students have been learning, inquiring, and taking action since the start of this school year. You child's teachers will invite you to the day(s) they have allocated for portfolio-shares in your class.
