TC STEM Camp
K-8 STEM Camp June 22-26, 12-3 p.m.
Camps made possible through 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant
In addition to the USI STEM camps previous advertised, we are excited to share that Tell City Schools will also be offering their own STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Camp June 22-26.
Students in grades K-8 are invited to apply to attend the STEM Camp sessions from 12-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The final day, Friday, will likely be an ALL DAY field trip to the Kentucky Science Center. More details TBA.
Proposed Topics/Teachers/Locations:
K/1: Simple Machines, William Tell Elementary
2/3: Amazing Earth!, William Tell Elementary
4/5: Hands-On Science Stations, Tell City Jr./Sr. High School
6/7/8: Mechanisms/Vehicle Exploration and Design, Tell City Jr./Sr. High School
There will be no daily transportation to/from the Tell City STEM camps except to/from the field trip. Daily participation is expected to attend field trip.
