A note from principal cline
Dear Charger Family,
Thank you to our sophomores and our staff for a great PreACT testing administration this week. I also want to acknowledge our Academic Facilitator, Ms. South, who has organized and directed this test as well as the PSAT and ACT this fall. We greatly appreciate her work! There are four items that I would like to touch on this week:
Live Zoom Sessions- Please continue your student(s) to attend live Zoom sessions with their instructors and to reach out to their instructors for help during office hours.
Required Grade Level Zoom Meetings- We will host our November Grade Level Meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18th at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. The links will be posted on our school homepage under “School Announcements.”
WorkKeys Testing Date Change- The CMVHS ACT WorkKeys Assessment date has been moved from Wednesday, November 17th to Thursday, December 2nd. This test is required for CTE Completers. Students that are CTE Completers will be notified directly of specifics and the date change.
Midyear Graduation Date Clarification- Midyear Graduation will be Thursday, February 10th at 7:30 p.m. at Bojangles Coliseum. My apologies for the incorrect date that I included in last week’s original newsletter; clearly too many dates were jotted down in one place. Thank you for your understanding.
Have a Great Weekend and Remember, It’s Always a Great Day to be a Charger,
John
