Little Rockets News!
Dear Families,
I want to thank all of you, again, for the wonderful start to the school year! We could not have had such a great start without your support!
I want to highlight a few procedures that are important in our home/school communication and assist with smooth transitions:
- All absences need to reported to the office. Please call Angie Calkins at 751-6990 and she will pass along the information to your child's teacher. Do not call your child's teacher directly to report an absence.
- If your child is in Head Start, please call absences in to their office at 920-215-7500.
- If you are making a change to your child's end-of-day plan, we ask that you give us at least a ONE HOUR notice to communicate the change to all needed staff. For instance, if your child usually takes the bus home but you are coming to pick your child up instead, please let us know (written note or phone call) by 10:00 for AM changes or 1:45 for PM changes.
- Please be PROMPT for pick-up. The AM session ends at 11:00 and the PM session ends at 2:45. We appreciate you being prompt with your pick-up as our staff needs to prep for the next session, eat lunch, and has end-of-day items to get finished up in the classrooms. If you are late to pick-up at your assigned door, your child will be brought to the office.
As always, please contact us with any questions or concerns.
Thank you!
Mrs. Stacie Nelson, Principal
Please mark your calendars!
