Kindness Week!

While we encourage kindness every day at Tiffany Ridge, we will be spending extra time each day next week to give attention to kind words and actions. This year, we want to focus on kindness within our community. Tiffany Ridge will be working with KC Pet Project this year! Students will learn about kindness with lessons and activities each day during the week.

Monday, February 11th: Watch for a flyer coming home requesting coins and donation items to support KC Pet Project! Collection boxes will be in the pods for shelter item donations. Students may also bring coins to participate in a "Cats vs. Dogs" coin drive to support KC Pet Project.

Tuesday, February 12th: "Caught being kind" dog tags will be given to students showing kindness! These will not just be given by teachers, but students will be able to give each other dog tags for kindness they "catch" their peers showing!

Wednesday, February 13th: How many ways can kindness be shown? Students will write as many ways as possible to give each other high fives for kindness!

Thursday, February 14th: Students will make thank you cards for people who care for animals (shelters, veterinarians, adoption centers, etc.)

Friday, February 15th: Students should wear your favorite animal shirt or print to celebrate their kindness efforts throughout the week!

Thank you so much for encouraging kindness in our students!
