Camp El Ranchito
This Sat., Feb. 25, registration opens for El Ranchito's Nature Discovery Camp (4th-9th graders) and Conservation Corps (10th-12th graders). Please share and forward this camp information to interested eligible families.
El Ranchito Camp is a week-long overnight outdoor nature camp. Each session is filled with nature explorations, field trips, a service project, healthy food, and nights under a starry sky. Campers wade and swim in creeks, ride horses, go hiking, sing around the campfire, and sleep in tents.
When kids go outside, they naturally begin to explore, discover, and learn. And they have a blast! Recent research confirms that kids who spend time outdoors are healthier, happier, and perform better academically. Spending time in nature also encourages self-discipline, confidence, problem-solving skills, creativity and cooperation.
