Family Movie Night - Odyssey 20 years!!!!

We invite our dragons and families to celebrate our school's 20 years with a Family Movie Night "Spider-Man No Way Home" at Odyssey by the bus loop this Friday. In addition, we will have a performance from our Odyssey Jazz Band, Prizes, Raffles, and more. Remember to bring your own chairs and blankets. Concessions and school spirit apparel will be available for purchase.

This event is FREE for students and families. We can't wait to see you there!

Hi, everybody.

I just want to share with you a photo of the lovely Autumn Ornaments that my student assistants made for the Autumn tree that will be up in the media center starting in November.

DRESS CODE Non-Negotiables:


1. Clothes shall be worn as they are designed. For example, suspenders should be over the shoulders, pants secured at the waist, belts buckled, no underwear as outerwear, and no underwear exposed.

2. Clothing must cover the body from one armpit across to the other armpit and down to

approximately mid-thigh. Tops must have straps. Undergarments must not be viewable. Rips, holes, or tears in clothing must be below mid-thigh.

3. Shoes shall be worn at all times and should be safe for the school environment. The following shoes are not acceptable for any OCPS student: cleated shoes or shoes with wheels.

4. Headgear shall not be worn on campus during the school day unless the headgear is approved by the principal.

6. See-through, revealing, or mesh garments must not be worn without appropriate coverage

underneath that meets the minimum requirements of this dress code.

7. Clothing and accessories that endanger students or staff shall not be worn.

Individual schools are expected to use the state and district dress and grooming guidelines as minimum standards; any adjustments may be made upon approval of the principal’s supervisor. The principal at each school reserves the right to determine what appropriate dress is for the school as detailed in these minimum standards.

No electronic devices are allowed during instructional hours. Cell phones should be turned off and concealed.

Phones confiscated by school administrators will be available for parent pick up in the front office.

Character Dress Up Day

The students will be allowed to dress up as their favorite book, movie, or Anime character on October 31st. The costume MUST BE SCHOOL APPROPRIATE and MUST follow our school dress code policy or parents will be called to bring the student a change of clothes. NO MASKS or TOY weapons of ANY kind will be allowed.

You can choose 5 different flavors and almost 40% will be donated to Odyssey Middle School! Proceeds will help us with school events, teacher appreciation, student awards, and more.
