Description
The Jefferson Memorial is a big statue. It is a 19 feet tall 5 ton statue that is located in Washington D.C. It is made out of white marble, black granite, and bronze. It also cost 3.2 million dollars.
Who made it
In 1938 a artist named Rudolph Evans made the Jefferson Memorial. He made it on a 18 acre (7 hectares) piece of land called Tidal Basin. By 1943 the Jefferson Memorial by Franklin Roosevelt .
Designers
The designers were John Russel Pope, Otto R. Eggers, and Daniel P. Higgins. I got to give these guys some credit for designing a sweet structure of one of the best presidents ever, Thomas Jefferson.
