Moses Was Born and called

Childrens Ministry

Dear Parents

This week, we continued our journey through the Bible using The Gospel Project for

Kids and learned about Moses’ birth and calling. Moses was chosen by God to help deliver God’s people out of Egypt. When God’s people cried out to God, He responded and miraculously rescued them from physical captivity. Jesus was a greater Deliverer because He rescued God’s people from captivity to sin.

Help your children connect the Exodus back to Joseph bringing His family into Egypt and forward to Jesus rescuing God’s people from sin.

Unit Key Passage

Hebrews 3:5-6

Now Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later, but Christ is faithful over God's hose as a son. And we are his house if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.

Unit 4 Session 1

Bible Passage: Exodus 1-4
Main Point: God rescued Moses to save His people
Big Picture Question: What is God's plan? God's plan is to rescue His people

Christ connection: God saved Moses' life so Moses could one day save God's people from the Egyptian king. God used His Son, Jesus to save people in an even better way. God sent Jesus to earth to save us from our sin.

Aloha Parents!

Today we got to begin our walk through Exodus and continue our learning of how God planned to send our Savior Jesus Christ from the very beginning. Every week we praise God for the growth He is doing in your children, as we see them desiring to participate more, understanding God's character, learning the stories, making connections to past stories we've gone over, and even growing in their love for one another. It is so beautiful to see how pure their hearts are in their quickness to forgive and repent, thank you parents for being reflections of Christ at home. We look forward to seeing you guys next week as we learn about why we christians celebrate Chritsmas! We love you and are always keeping your families in our prayers.

Aloha Families!

We just are filled with so much joy to be in the mission field with this wonder ours great commission from our Lord. This week we encouraged and taught that the good news, the gospel should not end with us. That just how Moses was saved to be the one to rescue the remnant of Israel from Egypt, that Christ saved us to use us as His body to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to those in our life. We thank you so much for allowing us to be apart of your kids lives, truly we are the ones blessed to witness something that not too many people get to witness! This week I encouraged the kids to go out and be missionaries in their daily life and try to bring their friends to church next week, so please please help them and if necessary drive their friends. Thank you! We love you so much and we are always praying for each of you all individually! Christ's love through us for you!
