Acts of Service for Operation Kindness

The K.C. Club otherwise known as the kindness and compassion club has determined their service project for this semester. They plan to advertise among the student body and will be collecting donated items to be donated to Operation Kindness in Carrollton, TX. Donated items are both for the shelter/clinic as well as donating items for "parents" of new adopted animals! We will show our love and support for Operation Kindness and the animals there!

We encourage you to join us in with contributions of pet items. Items may be sent to school during our collection week of March 14-21st. For additional questions contact club sponsor and PSA counselor, Sandy Burrell. #actsofservice

In order to better serve our students and families, we need to balance student populations at our current campuses. We are committed to providing quality education and maintaining an environment where we can champion success for each student. Little Elm ISD will host two Community Meetings to discuss the re-zoning project plan for Prestwick STEM Academy, Hackberry and Brent Elementary schools. Shout out to VEX Robotics Teams

Prestwick hosted our first VEX tournament for elementary, middle and high school teams on Saturday, March 19th. This event could not be possible without the many hours planning and time/effort donations of parents, community, staff and learners. The matches were filled with excitement! Innovation and creativity were evident in the creative design of robots.

Hosting an event of this type is sure to be a future tradition as we continue to develop our robotic program.

Shout out to Prestwick VEX Coaches- Mr. Cardenas, Mrs. Lucas, Mrs. Moseley and Mrs. Latta. Your leadership in this area is appreciated!
