Our deepest condolences

So many of us here in and around the SEED community have felt the tragic impacts of COVID. Our school social worker and counseling team are holding space this Friday at 10:00 am via zoom for any SEED families that would like to join us in community to receive support or just reflect on a recent COVID loss.

Courageous Conversation Compass
The compass was created to help us understand how we each process and engage with information about race. It is a way to understand one another's opinions and beliefs. According to the compass, there are 4 ways that people address race: Emotional, Intellectual, Moral and Relational.

Antiracist Educators Principal Chat-SAVE THE DATE
Thank you to the SEED families who joined us for our August and September antiracist educator chat. We shared our Reparations for Black Student in OUSD campaign and discussed micro-aggressions.
Our October meeting will be Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 at 4:00pm
our November meeting will be Tuesday November 10th, 2020 at 4:00pm
There will not be a December meeting.
Our family coordinator Misty Waters will send out a meeting reminder the week of the meeting. Bring a SEED parent friend and join our conversation!
