Happy January!! As winter temperatures continue to dip, please make sure your child is dressed for Ohio weather including clothing, hats, gloves and boots. We are trying to get our students outside as much as possible, and it helps when they are dressed for winter!!


Clear Fork Schools are seeing cases of the flu, as well as other illnesses. Please remind your child to wash hands frequently, cover their coughs, and let an adult know if they are not feeling well.


Please do not forget we will offer breakfast on two hour delay days! Students should arrive to school after 9:20 a.m. on these days.


Kindergarten Screening for Bellville Elementary is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31st. Registration forms will go home with students in mid-February. They will also be located at the Bellville Branch of the Mansfield Public Library and Bellville Post Office in mid-February.

Mrs. Nickoli, Butler Principal and Mrs. Swank, Bellville Principal will be speaking with caregivers while the children are being screened. They will be sharing important information regarding how to prepare your child for kindergarten!


Important Items to Note:


The child must be 5 ON OR BEFORE August 1st.


A registration packet must be picked up in their respective elementary building prior to the screening date.


Completed registration packet must be turned in by March 27th along with

Up to date immunization records, social security card or number, and birth certificate.


Once the completed packet is received, our building secretaries will contact families to schedule screening times. A parent does NOT need to accompany their child. A family member or babysitter may do so too.

Here is the list of updated ways to learn about Clear Fork Closings or Delays. I will also send out the closing and delay information to each grade level REMIND.

Free and Reduced National School Lunch Application

You may submit the Application for the National School Lunch Program at any time during the school year.

PTO News!

The Bellville PTO has some exciting activities coming up! Please friend them on Facebook so you do not miss anything!!


The next PTO meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 4th at 7:00 at Brumby's. Please join us!


Friday, February 7th is the Chuck E. Cheese Fundraiser from 3:30 to close. The PTO will receive a percentage of money raised during this time. We hope to see you there!


Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14, PTO will sell candy grams for 25 cents each. Information will be sent home soon.


The PTO will be providing dinner for the staff during the February 25th conferences. A sign up genius will be put out closer to this date.
