Weekly Updates/ Reminders:
- Students should not be in the hallways at any time without an escort.
- Please remember ALL instructional non-negotiables must be adhered to, failure to adhere will result in disciplinary action.
- Attendance must be taken by 9:30 am and then rechecked for any mistakes in the afternoon, failure to meet this deadline will result in a written warning.
- Lesson Plans are due EVERY Friday Evening @ 7pm.
- Please make sure that we are using the walkie-talkies for Level III offenses, nurse, or buddy room escorts. For minor infractions in the classroom setting (use your restorative practices, safe seat, buddy rooms) before calling for administration or sending students to the office. (No student will be sent to the office unless brought by an administrator).

Protocol for Ordering Items:
All orders must go through Ms. Enders first. If you have an order of any kind that you would like to place please email the complete list to Ms. Enders for approval. Once the order is approved Ms. Enders will email it to Ms. Doyle for the order to be placed.

Important Instructional Levers and Look For:
WEEKLY Instructional LOOK-FORS:
- I Can Statements and objectives up daily in classrooms.
- Connective Purpose Statements (What are we learning, because......, What I'm looking for).
- Instruction must be bell to bell.
- Writing across all content areas-- ensure that you plan for writing throughout your day.
- Update your Master trackers for ELA and MATH on a daily basis.
- Checking for Understanding- Continuously check for student understanding in order to modify and inform next steps
Weekly Behavioral LOOK-FORS:
- Continue to review your classroom management expectations and system, in addition to the school wide systems. Review those expectations like it is the 1st day of school.
- 4 Tips to Managing Student Behavior:
- Continue to be concise and less wordy with your expectations and redirections
- Continue to be consistent let inconsequential/non-disruptive beahavior go and not let it affect the lesson and learning.
- Incorporate positive students praise during small group instruction 1 negative: 5 positive reinforcements
- Step back from making immediate judgement on certain behaviors or students.
- What are your triggers? Knowing your triggers is a strategy used not only to keep yourself calm during difficult situations, but also to help aid in deescalating your students. If your calm, they are calm!
