The ASB has been hard at work planning a week dedicated to the spread of a positive school culture. During "You Matter Week", ASB will be decorating the campus with posters of encouragement, sharing messages of acknowledgment and appreciation, and engaging in different break time activities for ALL Foothill students and staff to be uplifted and cheered. These activities include, but are not limited to, personalized messages, candy grams, and interviews on Foothill Television during our Homeroom period. This heartening week will take place the week of 2/21/17 – 2/24/17. "

Film and Advanced Theater Arts Students Visit the Set of Hit TV Series Baby Daddy
Encouraging and supporting students to be college/career ready is a focus for the Foothill High community. We’re constantly looking for ways to implement real world experiences both within and outside the classroom. Our secretary, Cheryl Sewitsky, is the grandmother of Sura and Kayleigh Harris, who have played the role of “Emma Wheeler” for three seasons on the hit cable TV comedy BABY DADDY (Freeform). Chris Price, Foothill’s Digital Film instructor, has recently received an invitation for his class to visit the set of BABY DADDY at CBS Studio Center. Through their combined effort, Cheryl and Chris will provide our students with firsthand experiences of high impact careers by allowing them to watch filming and speak to the creator of the show, the director, producers, writers, actors, and production. It’s our wish that opportunities like this allow our students to find success in their college/career choices, hopes and dreams.
