Planning primary languages?
Welcome to the ALL community!
New Primary Hub in Cambridgeshire!
The Association for Language Learning is the major subject association for teachers of languages in the UK, run by teachers for teachers. We support and represent teachers of all languages in all sectors.
ALL Primary Hubs are places where local teachers involved in developing primary language teaching can meet, exchange ideas and provide peer support as well as accessing information and support nationally.
We've just set up a new Primary Hub in Cambridgeshire, and hope to have one in your area soon too.
Whether you're a languages co-ordinator in a primary school, specialist primary language teacher or generalist primary teacher who will start to teach languages from September, we can offer you the support you need.
Through:
- Training and networking: Network with other teachers for ideas, advice and support, and access training courses in your local area.
- Regular updates: Get regular updates, ideas, information and inspiration from our weekly e-bulletin, our Languages Today magazine and other publications.
- Advice and support: Our special interest group on primary education supports primary practitioners across the UK and we also provide links to useful resources, guidance and information on our website.
Why not find out more about your local Primary Hub on our website, and come along to a hub event?
Your school can also join ALL for only £36 per year!
