Supportive environment. Student success and completion of courses are high priority.
Engaging curriculum. All summer school courses are offered through Edgenuity. These are video-based lessons that students work through at their own pace.
There is no cost for current BCSC students this year!

Sign-up through your counselor OR fill out the summer school application:
CSA New Tech: https://bit.ly/newtechsummer2021

Updates from School Nurse Mrs. Travis
Happy May! We are almost to the end of the school year! We did it! With summer fast approaching, I wanted to remind everyone to bring your water bottles to school with you and refill them often. You may be getting outside more often during your classes so make sure you are dressing for the weather too. It can be warmer in certain classrooms and cooler in others. Wearing layers can help. Too much sun can damage your skin and cause wrinkles and sunspots. Trust me! I am now seeing the effects of sun damage from not protecting myself when I was younger. If you know your class is going to be outside in direct sun for more than 10 minutes please wear your sunscreen!
There will be a vaccine clinic July 29th at Smith Elementary School for your regular school required vaccinations. Not sure if you are up to date on your vaccinations? Just ask and I will look it up for you. See the flyer for instructions on how to sign up.
I hope you all have a great summer break and I look forward to seeing you next year!
Mrs Travis

Record Yearbook Sales
Thank you to all who ordered a 2020-2021 yearbook. This year was a sell-out year! To honor the last two months of the school year, the Publications class is creating a school newspaper. This addition will be available to add to the yearbooks to celebrate and capture the end of the year memories. Yearbooks will be distributed in mid-May.
Thanks again! We look forward to you supporting the yearbook campaign again next year!
National Honor Society
CSA New Tech National Honor Society is continuing to run strong this Spring Semester. On March 8th, seventeen new members were inducted into the NHS. With the addition of the new members, the CSA National Honor Society has had the pleasure to induct sixty-eight students over the past four years. The National Honor Society first came to CSA New Tech during the 2017-2018 school year, when students in the junior class advocated and created the Society through the national organization. The new 2020-2021 inductees have entered NHS with similar enthusiasm and are proving to be a great addition. The current spring service project, FABULOUS FACILS, is based on caring for and serving the teachers and staff at CSA New Tech. The students chose this project in response to the excellent care and dedication expressed to all students during this unprecedented school year. The 2020-2021 Inductees are:
Mercedes Bustos, Ariana Cahill, Haylee Cain, Lenora Carnes, Alexandra Crider, Jodie Crider, Holden Conner, Solis De Luna, Briana Dwenger, Tristan Davis, Carlie Menefee, Piper Parks, Hailey Risacher, Abigail Shute, Dawson Spratley, Moana Steele, and Emery Todd. Students interested in joining the National Honor Society should be on the lookout for information in September 2021.
