Grade Updates
Greetings Parents and Students,
Grades for my courses have been updated. This means that zeros have been entered for all assignments that were not submitted and were due on Friday, February 15th. Turning in assignments on time is the best way to ensure your grade does not drop. However, if you forgot an assignment or needed a little extra time, you can turn it in late. Remember, you have 5 school days to submit late work. 10% is deducted each school day the assignment is late. So work submitted on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday after the due date receive a 10% deduction. Tuesday receives a 20% deduction after grading. This continues through Friday, which is a 50% deduction. No late work can be accepted after 5 days past the due date. Please let me know if you have any questions.
WINTER BREAK POLICY
GaVS does not have a winter break. If your school has a winter break, you are still responsible for submitting GaVS work on time, according to the schedule. You may work ahead, so you can take time off for your winter break, but no extensions for work will be granted.
PRESIDENTS DAY HOLIDAY
GaVS will observe Presidents Day on Monday, February 18th. Enjoy the day off! No work is scheduled for this day.
EXTRA POINTS AVAILABLE
Are you wondering how to earn extra points? You can attend the live Adobe sessions, or listen to the recordings, and submit those points each week. You can also complete this Valentine opportunity as well. It is due February 28th.
ADOBE CONNECT SESSIONS
