Eagle Press

Week of January 23rd

Books with Blue!

Our 1st grade students had two special visitors last week! Sergeant Scott and Officer Alex came to read "Officer Buckle and Gloria" to our students. They answered questions about being a police officer and EMT. What a fun day for our kids!

Upcoming Band Concert

Our first full elementary band concert is scheduled for Wednesday, January 25th at 7:00 P.M in the Fraser High School gym. Students must be in the gym with their equipment set up by 6:30 P.M. for a group warm-up before the concert.

Please have your students wear a white top, black bottoms, and black shoes.

Prior to the concert, please make sure your student has everything they need: instrument, book, stand, new reeds, etc. so that rehearsals can go smoothly. If you need help getting any of the necessary equipment, please don't hesitate to reach out--I am more than happy to help.

Parking Lot

A FEW REMINDERS:

* Please remember that the drop-off lane is not for parked cars.

* The bus loop is for buses only!

* If you want to walk your child to their door, please park in a parking spot and walk up together.

Thank you for helping to create a safe parking lot for all our Eagles!

Empathy

For the month of January, we are focusing on empathy.

Empathy is feeling or understanding what someone else is feeling. Let’s practice being empathic to others this week!

Endangered Species Coin War!

On Monday, January 23-27, the Green Team will be collecting loose change donations for the Adopt an Endangered Species Coin War! Donations will be collected in the cafeteria during your lunch time.
