Narrable - Narrate a Photo Slideshow
You can record in three different ways.
- Directly on the computer, if is has a built in or plugged in microphone.
- From a phone. It is like leaving a voicemail.
- Upload an audio file from your computer.
Here is some more basic information about Narrable.
Narrable is a free tool teachers and students can use to create a photo slideshow. The accounts available are Edu Accounts for teachers or Regular Accounts for students (must be 13 years or older to create an account). Once an account is created with your MJSD email address, you can sign in each time by just clicking on the Google Icon.
Here is a link for simple step by step directions on how to create a Narrable.
A Narrable is a slideshow that allows you to add up to 5 minutes of talking to each picture in the slide show. The show moves itself along on your screen automatically when you view it. Here is a sample Narrable - https://narrable.com/#narrables/uezu02/coverImage

Record Voice on a Computer
After audio is recorded, it can be shared with a link through email, embeded on a website or blog, shared through a variety of tools or downloaded as a MP3 or WAV file. You can also listen to the audio immediately.
This is a great tool for students to record narratives for other multimedia projects or to practice their reading fluency.
