Skyview School of STEM
December 21, 2023
From the Principal's Desk
Hello Skyview Families,
I am always amazed at how fast time seems to fly especially within the school year. We are already finished with our first semester of the school year, and this afternoon we will be sending our students home for a couple weeks of rest with family and friends. I want to thank you all for a great start to this school year. I am entering into this break with gratitude for our amazing Skyview community and the students and families we get to serve. I also want to thank our amazing staff who have given so much each day this semester. We are truly fortunate to have such an amazing team.
Please remember that there is no school tomorrow, Friday, December 22, and that school will begin again in the new year on Tuesday, January 9.
Our lost and found will be collected and donated at the end of the day tomorrow, so please make sure to check out the space before leaving for break. Our lost and found will be rolled out in front of the building on Friday morning for our families to check one last time before being donated.
Have a wonderful break, and we will see you all in the new year.
Sincerely,
Evan Netzer
Skyview Principal

Lost and Found
All lost and found items will be donated over winter break.
**Tomorrow morning (Friday, December 22) we will put the lost and found items in the front of the building. Please come and check to see if your child(ren) have lost anything before we donate what remains.**
How sick is too sick?
It's cold and flu season and we have had many students out with illness. If you are wondering about WeldRE4 policies, please click on the link.

Please be sure that the student has been at least 24 hours with no symptoms and no medications before returning to school. Also, be sure that they are able to fully participate in school activities before returning. If you see a doctor, please get a note from the doctor excusing absences.
Inclement Weather Scenarios
There are three potential winter-weather scenarios in our district: a closure, two-hour delay, and early dismissal. In the case of any of these scenarios, we will send a message through Infinite Campus, as well as post on the district’s website and Facebook page as soon as possible. Please make sure your contact information is up-to-date through the Infinite Campus app or website. If you don’t have an Infinite Campus account, visit our Parent Applications Dashboard page for a how-to guide or contact the front office. LEARN MORE
