Diagnostic Test Info:
According to the state, unless the district has a Performance Index or Value Added of an A or a B, we must administer diagnostic assessments at least one time in a school year.
So, we will have to administer the following Diagnostics as you have in the past sometime this Spring:
Math- Grades 1 and 2
Writing- Grades 1, 2, and 3
Your results will go in to the documents that are in Shared with Me on Google Drive- Diagnostic Result's Folder, under 16-17, your grade level, then your class.
Remember- If they are on a RIMP they are NOT ON TRACK for Reading, if they are not on a RIMP, they are ON TRACK. For Math and writing, mark the same way using the state diagnostics.
Here is a link with all the info you need.

Diagnostic results also need to go in files at the end of the school year.
Notes from Home/Dismissal:

We are following Ohio's Learning Standards (which are aligned with the Common Core). Be sure to review these with your TBTs since there have been updates in Reading and Math.

Packing Info:
Room numbers will be given in the coming weeks for you to add to your labels.
If there are items in your classroom that you do not need and is trash (will not be sold in an auction), we need to label it trash and then let the custodian know to come and get it. All trash will need to go to the dumpster before the demolition of the building. You are not expected to move it, but will need to let the custodian know. Just send and Email to Emily when you have things labeled. She will be sure someone gets the trash to the dumpster.
Get moving on packing things! Time will fly by!
Packing Boxes:
Also, if you need Bubble Wrap for fragile items, just ask your day cleaner! They have plenty!
48 days until we have to be out of Olney completely! EEEEEKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!
Packing Up for the Big MOVE!!!!
-Beginning in February, custodians will begin to throw away/clean out items in common spaces and closets that are not marked.
-Mark any items that are Trash and send Emily Bires and email and she will be sure someone gets it moved out for you
-Not moving ANY furniture!
-Questions... just ask!
-Get Packing!
New Building Updates:
-Label trash and let Emily know to have someone come and get rid of things
-Label items in common spaces, closets, or lounges before FEBRUARY! Custodians will begin pitching items in those spaces that are not labeled.
-Do NOT worry about labeling auction items. Things that do not have labels will be in the auction.
-All boxed and labeled items will need to stay in your classroom or space until it is time to move. Things will not be moved as they are packed. So, make a corner in your current space for packed boxes.
Thank you!
ACE Writing:
A= Answer
C= Cite
E= Extend
Look around the building for posters to reference as needed and let me know if you need help with anything else.
Gayle Wilson mentioned that in math she uses the C as Compute.. Thanks for sharing!
Evaluations:
You will have final evaluation meetings scheduled with me sometime in March or after if I am your evaluator. Let me know if there are questions. Thanks!
