End of the 2015-2016 School Year
Wrapping Up the School Year and Gearing Up for Next Year
The school year is winding down and things are coming to a close. We will spend the remainder of the school year wrapping up and sharing projects that students have completed.
It has been a wonderful experience working with your children in my first year at Cassidy and I look forward to many great things in the years to come!
I would love to have your feedback on what worked well and what you would like to see in the future. Please click on the following link to provide feedback on the gifted and talented program at Cassidy: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9G3KGVL
I am in the process of working with grade level teams and the gifted and talented committee to determine schedules and service plans for next year. In the fall, I will send information home to families explaining the services your child will be receiving to keep you updated on that.
I will be out on maternity leave at the beginning of the school year next year (my family is welcoming a baby boy at the end of June) and anticipate that I will return in early September. I will work with grade level teams to put plans in place and assure that your child starts off the school year with differentiated instruction to provide them with challenging learning activities.
I hope that everyone enjoys a summer filled with family and fun! See below for some great resources in the community to keep your child's active brain on the move this summer!
