A Message from Curtis Principal, Sonya Pitcock

Cougar Families,

Thank you all so much for the support you have shown us as we have started this unique school year. We feel your partnership and truly appreciate you! We are looking forward to getting some students on campus to start in person learning. This big building is feeling very empty! We are so proud of how our students are asking questions and reaching out to their teachers when they need help. We know there is much to navigate for our students and they are doing great! The Tracks teachers are an additional resource for kids as they navigate everything this year and we know many students are reaching out to them for help as well.

The district will be sending out a new commitment letter on September 23 for anyone who wants to change from virtual to in person or in person to virtual. The deadline for the completion of that request will be September 29. We are not changing any selections at this time.

Students who have received devices from the school and are returning to campus next week need to be sure and bring those devices with them to campus each day. Those devices will remain checked out to students throughout the year so they will be responsible for bringing it back and forth to use while at school.
