Nick's Graduation

Big image

The day is quickly approaching

Crazy as it sounds, 4 years have rolled by since I moved down to Nashville, TN to begin my study of Electrical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. By some miracle, I've managed to stick with my major (plus add a few minors in Math and Computer Science) and maintain strong involvement on campus, starting a new a cappella group on campus and serving as president of my fraternity.

I wanted to extend an invitation to y'all to come see me grab my diploma, as well as some sort of celebration following that will depend on the number of people who are coming.

Regardless if you are able to come or not, I hope I'll be able to see you sometime this summer before I enter the real world. Luckily, I will not be homeless after graduation. I plan to do some travelling this summer before starting full time as an Automation Engineer with Chevron in Houston, TX in August.

My dad and I need to know how many people to expect for any sort of meal/festivities following Commencement. Please respond to this email to let me know if you plan to come and how many people are coming!

Hotels may be pretty booked up at this point, but in case you were wondering, my dad, Natalie, and Grandpa Ches will be staying at the Holiday Inn by campus.

From the Vanderbilt Commencement website listed above there may also be lodging available on campus.
