At Collins, we teach our students that we are "Kind, Safe, Leaders". One of the ways that we help students see themselves as leaders is through classroom jobs. Our campus goal is for every student to have a classroom job every day. This makes them feel special and that they are an important part of their classroom community. Ask you child what his or her jobs have been this year!
9/15: Hispanic Heritage Month Begins9/17: Early Dismissal 11:45AM
10/18: Picture Day
Hispanic Heritage Month
We are asking all of our families to send in different items to celebrate Hispanic heritage and contribute to our mural. This includes: photos and biographies of hispanic family members, family photos of vacations to Hispanic countries, favorite recipes and artwork that is inspired by the Hispanic culture. We would like everyone to participate in this mural! Please make a copy of photos as we will not be able to return these items.
You can send these items with your child to school or submit them via email to our Parent and Community Liaison, Araceli McBeth: firstname.lastname@example.org
Arriving After 7:30AM?
We appreciate your partnership in getting our students to school on time!
If you arrive after 7:30AM to drop off your student, you will notice that the drop off lane is closed. Please park in our parking lot and walk your child to the front door to sign him or her in. Your child will be counted as tardy. We want to ensure that our students are safe and supervised at all times. We do not have staff in our parking lots after the tardy bell rings. We appreciate you walking your child to the front door for safety!
