HAWC meeting

Let's get this done!


The date is still March 2nd from 12-2 in STCN 160. Set up will be at 11:30 and take down should not take that long so I have the room until 2:15. If you know your schedule please sign up during the meeting. I will have a sheet. I will also be briefly talking about DSWD at this team meeting. Lastly, I will need some help with decorations. It’s a superhero theme so if anyone has any ideas and time to make them please shoot me an email.

We’re moving our campus launch event to spring (and planning for April) to also boost interest in TBTN. -


regional conference location not yet announced.


National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference. July 27-31 at Regis University. A cohort of SU student leaders go each year with an advisor - please consider if HAWC wants to fund someone from the group to attend Early bird registration goes until April 1 and costs $395 - travel will come later - to be safe $1000 total should do it. Given timing, you can also do registration out of this year and travel out of next year. Check it out.

Take Back the Night

Bring calendars to sign up for the Clothesline Project at the meeting! Outreach will be heavily in need of support, please consider the workload you have for your committee and let us know at the meeting if you would be able to help in any way. Taylor and Sheri will be discussing committee goals at the meeting for the following week. All committees - please come up with progress updates!

Apps & Aromatherapy (There’s A Nap For That!)

Winnie is still trying to figure out a location for the event, February just crept up on Winnie and she has had no luck with booking a CES reservation. At this point, it’s probably going to be another event to encourage foot traffic in the office, but she’s not sure how that will look like quite yet. Winnie is working on making a list of needed materials, learning outcomes, etc to make this event happen! It will be either on the last week of February or the first week of March (most likely the latter). Stay tuned.

New New Year’s Resolution

We’re sending the posters to repro graphics. We’ll hang them up. :)

Body Positivity campaign

We’ve talked to rha and are drafting our posters. Still looking at trying to write on mirrors.
