IB AUTHORIZATION VISIT

This week, we had our virtual MYP Authorization Visit. The Authorization Team met with all stakeholders: teachers, administration, the superintendent, support staff, students, and parents (shout out to the Brodskys, Solas, Motts, and Vaccaros!).

The team was extremely impressed with our growth, and we are looking to be authorized by this winter! We are extremely proud of our incredible teachers and staff for implementing such a culture-rich and rigorous curriculum, and we are very proud of our students for demonstrating many of the pieces of IB that create a globally-minded citizen!

Fifth Grade Hispanic Heritage Potluck

Fifth-grade scholars in Ms. Perez’s, Ms. Taylor’s & Ms. Spencer’s classes celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a cultural potluck meal. Scholars tried dishes from Colombia, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Cuba, & Argentina.

Scholars had such an amazing time that they are already making plans for another cultural appreciation potluck!
