Look for a Sign Up Genius invitation in next Friday's newsletter. All parents are invited to come to Elm Road to pick up and drop off student materials on June 1-3. In order to make this process as efficient as possible, it will be very important to arrive at your assigned date and time. Parents will need to enter our lot from the south and circle around the main lot (south lot). Drive along the curb and follow the direction of the attendant. Parents will need to park and come to the table for student belongings. The items will be given to each family in a marked bag. We ask that you arrive wearing a protective mask and other personal protective equipment. Only one adult is able to leave each vehicle to approach the table. Teachers are not able to be here during this time, so this will not be a time to see or talk with your child's teacher. Please make sure to return any classroom or library books. ONLY the students moving to another school should return their Chromebook. Our fifth graders are asked to take their Chromebooks with them to Grissom.

Elementary Social-Emotional eLesson & Survey for the Week of May 18, 2020!!
P-H-M elementary students are all amazing!! They have been a part of a huge district initiative as this was our first year to have all students in P-H-M engaged in SEL lessons, even during the extended eLearning. Congratulations to your students for being a part of something huge! Since this is the last week of school, this is also the last SEL eLesson for the 19-20 school year. It will be a review of all of the major SEL competencies covered this year.
If you missed any previous SEL eLessons since spring break, you can find them at this link: https://www.phmschools.org/district-info/student-sel-video-lessons-during-extended-elearning. A very special thank you to Miss Mackenzie Krieg, Youth Development Specialist from the Youth Service Bureau (YSB), for creating this week’s SEL eLesson! It has been fun to hear from several different YSB specialists during eLearning.
As summer quickly approaches, we know that due to COVID-19 our time and interactions may look differently than in the past. We will get through this-we are adaptable and resilient. Please visit the SEL webpage on P-H-M’s website for additional resources for families and students, including information relevant to COVID-19 (Talking with Your Student/Resources/Relieving Anxieties/Cognitive Flexibility, Anticipatory Grief, Mental Wellness, etc.).
