PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Unfortunately, we continue to monitor hallways and restrooms for vandalism and theft as students continue to attempt the "Tiktok Challenge." I ask for parents' continued support and appreciate meaningful conversation in your home about respect for other's property and proper understanding of social media content and intent.
On a much more positive note! We welcome Mr. Kevin Acuna, our new band director! We are excited to have Mr. Acuna join our staff. On behalf of our staff, I extend gratitude to Mr. Fudala who temporarily rejoined us to keep our phenomenal music program on track and extend congratulations to Mr. Acuna as he steps in as our new band director.
Don't forget picture day is next week - be sure your students are ready with smiles!

Meetings begin Thursday, September 23rd, and permission slips can be found in the commons.

THE LINCOLN LRC IS OPEN AFTER SCHOOL TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, AND THURSDAYS!
Here are the expectations for students while in the LRC after school:
· Students are expected to arrive by 2:55pm and sign in.
· The expectation is the environment is conducive to collaboration work. This does NOT mean the library is silent, but respectful and welcoming for all students.
· Chromebook use is allowed, provided it does not disrupt others.
· Use of headphones is encouraged for anything that can be disrupting to others.
· Cell phone use is allowed with permission.
· Students should not be arriving after 3:00pm without a pass from a teacher.
· Students needing to use the washroom should check in with the supervisor for permission.
· If any student leaves early, they are expected to sign out, and leave the building through the front office.
· If a student is asked to leave due to behavioral/disciplinary issues, they are expected to leave through the front office. If a student needs to be removed a second time, their names will be forwarded to administration.
· The library is not a "hang out" for students waiting for athletic games to start. Students should be attending the library with the purpose of doing work.
ASK THE OFFICE STAFF!
HOW DOES CALLING STUDENTS DOWN TO PICK UP ITEMS DROPPED-OFF IN THE OFFICE WORK?
Parents should not expect that the office will interrupt a class to call their child down for dropped-off items. Overall we find that students have already connected with home (usually via text) about forgotten items and they check the front office table throughout the day for that item. The office staff is instructed to keep classroom interruptions to a minimum since there is regular student movement throughout the day. There are, of course, a few exceptions when we will interrupt the classroom. Medical needs, eye glasses, contact lenses, house keys, are a few examples when we will contact your child. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
