CASIIT Information Sessions
The information sessions are designed for our incoming freshman and their families, and current Battlefield High School students interested to learn about Battlefield's exciting new specialty program CASIIT.
Dates: January 16, 2019
Time: 7 - 9pm
Location: Battlefield High School Auditorium
At the information session, you will have the opportunity to meet some of our faculty, see the facilities and be impressed with our students' work!
5th ANNUAL HAYMAKER STEAM EXPO
Some exciting attractions for this year include:
● Science on Stage Assembly Demo and hands-on experiments by the Children’s Science Center
● Hands-on science with Gravity is Optional
● Stop by to build ships in water tank and design ships in the free naval video game, FLEET of the American Society of Naval Engineers
●Escape Room Bus
● Participate in a bracelet making craft which involves a basic concept of binary, accompanied by an online game which introduces binary and coding with WiSTEM
● Participate in a STEAM themed escape room with Victory Elementary
● Featuring the FBI and Secret Service
● Includes a number of activities for high school students

ILITE Cyber - News and Upcoming Events
AFA's Cyber Patriot's Round #1 of competition was Friday 2-Nov-2018. CASIIT hosted 8 high school and 2 middle school teams in this event. Five of the high school teams scored a perfect score on both Windows 10 and Ubuntu 14 images. Congratulations to all students!

INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY "OFF THE WALL" Annual Art Competition
The following two AP Studio Art Students were juried into the Off-the Wall Competition at the Candy Factory in Manassas. This is an annual show featuring talented students from Prince William County sponsored by Lockheed Martin and the Center for the Arts – Caton Merchant Family Gallery. Student work will hang from December 18th to January 25th in the gallery and then will travel to Lockheed Martin to be on display from February 1st – the 28th. There will be an open house and reception from 2-4 pm on January 5th.
